The Festive Season is Here!

Christmas Boat ParadeWe would like to advise all of our guests and boaties that Runaway Bay Marina, Marina Fuels and the dry storage service will be closed Christmas Day only and open every other day over the Christmas break.
Many of the restaurants and services at the Marina will still be trading over the Christmas season so please don’t hesitate to contact our head office if you have any queries on 07 5577 1400.
From the crew at Runaway Bay Marina, we would like to wish you all a very Merry and safe Christmas and New Year. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Runaway Bay Marina in 2013.

The New Look Marina is Coming!

A few of our regulars would have already noticed the ‘new look’ Runaway Bay Marina office with our brand new signage. But why stop there? Over the next few months we’ll be revamping our street signage for our Commercial building as well as signage within the building itself to make our ‘neighbourhood’ here at the Marina, as user-friendly as possible to all of our locals and visitors.

With our growing number of services and business’s within both the commercial and marine sectors, they’ll be no reason you can’t find what you’re looking for. For a directory of all the great facilities we have available, click ‘Commercial’ on our home page and see all that Runaway Bay Marina has to offer.  https://www.runawaybaymarina.com.au/tenants-shops.php

In the Unlikely Event…

Last week the Runaway Bay Marina Management invited the Hollywell Fire Brigade on site for an extensive  tour of the Marina facilities, with particular emphasis on all of our safety and fire fighting equipment.

We discussed and confirmed with them the best method on how to get on and off the marina ‘in the unlikely event’ of a fire.

Of course we hope never to see a fire on site, but it is good to know that we have a crew based  just a few hundred metres up the road to keep an eye out for us and our vessels.

The Sanctuary Cove Boat Show is Here!

There has been a definite buzz on the waterways of the Gold Coast this week, in particular, at Runaway Bay Marina with the build up to the 2012 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. The Show officially opened to the public yesterday and we’ve had a bit of extra excitement at the Marina with the 92.5 Gold FM Morning Show broadcasting all week from a houseboat and paying us a visit at the Marina. Has been a lot of fun listening to their daily broadcasts.

We’ve got a lot of local business’s supporting the Boat Show with the likes of Riviera & Maritimo, Fairline Game & Leisure Boats, Bradford Marine, JD’s Boatshed, Action Boating, Runaway Bay Marine Service and Seapower.

A special mention of our tenants at Marine Auctions who will holding Auctions at the Show today and Saturday and here onsite at Runaway Bay Marina on Sunday 27th from 10am. For more information have a look at their website or give Bill a call on 0458 304 786.

The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show runs until this Sunday 27th and we encourage everyone to go along and support the marine industry. Check out their official website for a program of events.

Remember, Runaway Bay Marina is a fantastic pick-up point for Water Taxi’s to the Boat Show and a great place to enjoy a few post-show beverages or meals at one of our many dining options at the Marina with Kleins Coffee, Bar and Grill, Ruffinos, Malay Paradise Restaurant or Portside Steak and Seafood.

Looking forward to a great weekend!
